We truly care about adding joy to the lives of those we support, and that’s why we are rated as ‘Outstanding’ at being ‘Caring’ by the CQC.

Whether it is a 30 minute visit or full live-in care, we can offer you the tailored care and support you need. Our home care services are flexible to suit you and your lifestyle. We will work alongside yourself and your family members to tailor our services to help you stay in control of your own care for as long as possible. What makes our homecare services different is that we aim to provide you with the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. Delivering the very best homecare is our passion, and we strive to achieve this every day.

Your Care Assistants will visit at the allocated times and can provide care from housekeeping to personal care with medication administration, and even take you out and about to access the community with visit accompaniments. They can help you with meal preparation, and keep you company with our companionship calls. Our carers love to learn more about you and listen to your stories. If you are looking after a loved one and need a little time for yourself, we can also help with this and offer you respite calls. If this sounds like just what you or your family member needs, give us a call now on 01527 916442. You can also view our online brochure here.

  • Once you have enquired, our friendly and experienced Care Supervisor Katy, or Registered Manager Sam, will visit you in your home to discuss all of your requirements to create a bespoke care package for yourself or your loved one.
  • Jo and Amy, our Care Coordinators, will then book in your visits and allocate your regular Care Assistants. We always endeavour to maintain continuity and keep you with the same team of Care Assistants.
  • Once your care package has been created, Katy or Sam will carry out a ‘Meet & Greet’ visit to introduce you to your Care Assistant. All of this process is overseen by our dedicated Registered Care Manager, Sam, who has been with Bluebird Care Bromsgrove & Redditch since 2012.
  • Once your care has begun, we will regularly review your care package, ensuring it is always meeting any changing needs.

Samantha joined Bluebird Care in 2014 as a part-time carer, allowing her to start a career in care whilst still spending time with her young family. Sam's passion and dedication has lead to Sam progressing within Bluebird Care from a Carer, a Coordinator, Lead Supervisor, Deputy Manager and now holds the Registered Manager position. Sam has worked incredibly hard to build great relations with Customers, Carers and the local health teams to ensure that our Customers receive the high quality of care that they deserve, and continues to support the Carers to ensure they have the full training, mentoring and support needed to deliver this excellent care. Sam is also our Mental Health First Aider, looking after the well-being of the Bluebird Care family.

Katy Thompson - Lead Care Supervisor

Katy joined the care sector in 2009, before joining us at Bluebird Care Bromsgrove & Redditch in 2015. Katy, now our Lead Supervisor, works closely alongside our Registered Care Manager to provide the highest quality person-centred care. Katy enjoys providing the carers with extra support in the community so they can provide the best support to the customers. Her training includes NVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, and is also our in-house 'Moving and Positioning' trainer. Jo's responsibilities include ensuring that all call times are met and managed efficiently, and that the care worker - customer suitability and continuity is maintained. Ranjot & Baljit Khatra

Bluebird Care Bromsgrove & Redditch is owned and led by Ranjot and Baljit Khatra, who bring with them a wealth of knowledge from their healthcare and finance backgrounds. It is Ranjot and Baljit’s goal to ensure that Bluebird Care is the very best care provider in the local community, as well as being the best employer. Having worked with patients of her own for many years as an Optometrist, Ranjot values the importance of care, communication, and professionalism, and strives to ensure that the care provided to Bluebird Care customers is of the highest quality. Ranjot and Baljit’s own experience of caring for their grandparents gave them a great appreciation of the importance of carers in keeping people in their own homes. This inspired the couple to start their venture with Bluebird Care, giving them the opportunity to help others live the dignified life they deserve, and be able to stay in the comfort of their own homes.

‘We have a strong belief in the selfless service of others and upholding the dignity and respect of the elderly and those in need of care. The values of Bluebird Care as a company fit perfectly with our own personal values, and we are thrilled to be part of the Bluebird Care family to be able to make a positive impact on the local community’

The carers really seem to have my mum's best interests at heart - they are cheerful, helpful and professional, offering advice or ideas if I ask. The office workers are super helpful whenever I ring them to ask any questions and it really feels like we are working together - they have been very supportive to me as a family member caring for a very elderly relative. Thank you Bluebird!!

This type of care second to non For 8months their surppport for mom and ourselves has been great I would go to mom most days and all would be cared for as before every day would be helping with all day to day things This helped me stay a daughter for my mom instead of her carer. The difference this made was important as things that was needed at this point in time to get on making my own life again could happen, thank you so much for what you have done, fab care fr top agency.

Absolutely superb care from every single carer at Bluebird Care, that came to our Mums to care for Dad. They maintained Dads dignity whilst providing outstanding care. And they put our Mums mind at rest that he was in the best hands. And he was. We could not have asked for more. Thank you all. ❤

Time for a Cuppa

Dementia UK is one of our chosen 'Charities of the Year' for 2023 and in May, during Dementia Action Week, we took part in the national 'Time for a Cuppa' event to raise funds for this fantastic charity. As more people live into older age, cases of Dementia are becoming far more common and expected to rise to 1.6 million people with Dementia by 2040. To raise funds, our Office team and Care Assistants came together to put on a coffee afternoon, where our Customers, family members and members of other local businesses came together to have a chat over a cup of tea and cakes, whilst raising vital funds. The team managed to raise £60 during the event. Katy, our Lead Supervisor, said "Particularly as Dementia becomes more common, it is crucial that charities, communities and local providers are fully equipped to support people with the condition to lead happy and fulfilling lives.'
