STARLING HOMECARE is an independently owned, family run, CQC regulated care provider supporting individuals and families across St Albans District, Harpenden and the surrounding areas. Founded by a local family with many years of experience delivering and overseeing regulated care in Hertfordshire, STARLING HOMECARE brings together family values and genuine professional expertise. Our focus is on doing things properly, with care that feels personal, consistent and dependable.

 

We provide professional care at home from 30 minute visits through to full time live in care, allowing support to adapt as needs change. Some people need practical help with day to day living. Others value companionship, reassurance and a familiar presence they can trust.

 

Whatever the level of support, care is shaped around the individual and delivered in a way that feels respectful, comfortable and reassuring. Every visit is carefully planned, thoughtfully delivered and supported by clear professional oversight, giving families confidence that care will be there when it matters most.

Kelly Taylor

Manager

Kelly brings over 25 years of experience working in care, supporting adults with a wide range of needs to live safely and comfortably at home. Over the course of her career, she has led care teams across Hertfordshire and been closely involved in developing services, building strong teams, and putting the right systems in place to support high quality care.

As part of her wider commitment to improving care standards across Hertfordshire, Kelly worked with the Hertfordshire Care Providers Association, where she delivered leadership programmes and supported managers and care teams to strengthen practice, confidence and consistency across services.

As Care Manager, Kelly oversees the day to day running of care and provides ongoing support to both clients and carers. She cares deeply about the standard of care people receive and is committed to making sure every client is supported properly, with respect, consistency and kindness. She is known for being calm, thoughtful and approachable, and for taking the time to listen.
